Sierra Wilds Update
Last week, we sent an important letter regarding our next steps with the proposed Sierra Wilds Development next to our school. In case you missed it, this letter is available here. An important component of the upcoming legal action is a GoFundMe campaign that’s been started to help offset the legal costs. One week in, and I’d like to THANK our MMCA community for contributing over $4k towards the legal campaign! We will continue to post weekly updates regarding where we are at within the legal process and the GoFundMe campaign.

Campus Spotlight
This week our Coral Room hosted a Character Education Assembly that focused on Gratitude and how to put it into action. Immediately after, they entertained our entire school with their awesome class play! Great job Coral Room!
Character Corner
November Word of the Month: Gratitude
This week, our school community begins our month-long focus on cultivating a mindset of gratitude. Students are learning that gratitude means noticing the good things in our lives and not taking them for granted. Kickstart this focus at home by asking your child to name three simple things they are thankful for during dinner or bedtime.
Volunteer Hours Log
As a reminder to the Annual Parent Handbook shared earlier this school year, all families are encouraged to volunteer 40 hours each school year per family.
Information about volunteering can be found here.
To log your hours, you can complete this Google Form or scan the QR code when you check in the office to volunteer!
Volunteer hours will be tallied next week and mailed home with report cards on November 20th.
