Classroom Spotlights
Our 7th and 8th grade students in the Green Room enjoyed an exciting day at the Sac State Aquatic Center! Students participated in team-building activities and stayed active in the sunshine for a memorable start to the school year.
Our Orange Room Big Buddies teamed up with their Little Buddies in Children’s House for a fun, hands-on apple activity. Sweet way to create and learn together! *
Character Corner
The September Word of the Month is KINDNESS and today we had our first Character Education Assembly featuring this theme.
Kindness is a Superpower
Kindness is a superpower that lifts everyone up! This week, our students are looking for everyday opportunities to practice intentional acts of kindness. Whether it is sharing a ball on the playground or saying hello to a new student, small actions make a big difference. Ask your child today: "How did you show kindness to someone at school this week?"

Parking and Drop Off Reminder
Please remember that the loading zone is for active drop-off and pick-up only. If you need to leave your vehicle, please park in an available parking space.
Kindly avoid reserved staff spaces and our specially designated spaces for the Watch DOG of the Day, Garden Raffle Winner for the Year (Odell Family), and PTA Chairperson of the Month.
Plenty of family parking is available along the upper lot concrete wall for those walking students to or from campus.
Thank you for helping keep drop-off and pick-up SAFE and running smoothly.
Uniform Orders
Our second set of uniform orders (for orders placed prior to August 17th) just arrived and you should have received an email/telephone call from our front office to come pick up your order.
Our final order for the fall will be placed on September 16th for orders placed between August 17th and September 15th. Our next order will not be until December. Make sure to get in your hoodie orders now!
PTA Spotlight - Family Bingo Night
The MMCA PTA is planning an exciting night featuring:
Multiple rounds of BINGO
Fun prizes
Four Corners and Freeze Dance
Snacks and refreshing drinks
Family fun with our MMCA community
Best of all—admission is completely FREE!
Advance registration is requested so we can prepare enough bingo cards, seating, prizes, and supplies for everyone.

Picture Day - Save the Date!
Uniforms are required for Picture Day, however, please do not wear green tops as it disrupts the green screen technology used for photo backgrounds.
