Classroom Spotlights
Our Yellow Room 1st graders worked on building their technology and literacy skills in the computer lab by practicing reading while learning important mouse and computer navigation skills. Meanwhile, our Blue and Red Room students welcomed Amazing Athletes to campus for the exciting kickoff of their PE enrichment program where they’ll develop coordination, teamwork, confidence and a love of movement!

This year at MMCA, we are placing a special emphasis on Character Education! Each month our school community will focus on a new character trait as our Word of the Month. Lookout for our weekly updates and how you can help reinforce the lessons in your home. Together we can help our Mustangs build strong character - one word at a time!

Character Corner
Our first Word of the Month is KINDNESS!
We define kindness as showing care, concern, and consideration for others through our words and actions. Throughout the month, students will explore what it means to be kind in the classroom, on the playground, and at home while looking for opportunities to show kindness to classmates, staff, families and our community. We invite you to talk with your child this week about what kindness looks like in your family!
Watch Dogs Pizza Night - September 16th!
Flyers will be sent home with students this week with information about our upcoming WATCH D.O.G.S.® Pizza Night!
Join us on Wednesday, September 16th from 5:30–6:30 PM for our 14th Annual Dads & Kids Pizza Night!
Enjoy FREE pizza and drinks beginning at 5:30 PM, followed by a short presentation at 6:00 PM about our WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) Program.
WATCH D.O.G.S.® is a nationwide program that encourages fathers and father-figures to become actively involved in their students’ school experience. Our goal is to have volunteers spend at least one day on campus this school year serving as positive male role models and providing an extra set of eyes and ears around our school.
Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads, and adult brothers - bring your student and join us for a fun evening of pizza, community, and connection!

Parking and Drop Off Reminder
Please remember that the loading zone is for active drop-off and pick-up only. If you need to leave your vehicle, please park in an available parking space.
Kindly avoid reserved staff spaces and our specially designated spaces for the Watch DOG of the Day, Garden Raffle Winner for the Year (Odell Family), and PTA Chairperson of the Month.
Plenty of family parking is available along the upper lot concrete wall for those walking students to or from campus.
Thank you for helping keep drop-off and pick-up SAFE and running smoothly!
PTA Update
Uniform Orders
Our second set of uniform orders (for orders placed prior to August 17th) just arrived and you should have received an email/telephone call from our front office to come pick up your order.
Our final order for the fall will be placed on September 16th for orders placed between August 17th and September 15th. Our next order will not be until December. Make sure to get in your hoodie orders now!
Picture Day - Save the Date!
Uniforms are required for Picture Day, however, please do not wear green tops as it disrupts the green screen technology used for photo backgrounds.
