APEX Fun Run

APEX was a huge success!  Thank you to our staff and PTA for organizing this wonderful event and thank you to all of our families and their friends and families for the generous pledges so far!

We still have one more night of pledging left.  A-Train will be around to classes tomorrow for one last quick visit to hand out the last of the prizes and award the top classes in pledges and the top classes in shares with their Apex medals!!!  Keep sharing with your family and friends, every little bit counts towards those Smart Boards in every class!!!



Staff Appreciation Lunch

As a token of their appreciation, the PTA sponsored a lunch today for MMCA staff and the APEX Team! Our staff loved it - thank you!




Spring Conferences: 3/4, 3/5 and 3/6

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be on March 4, 5, and 6th. There will be no school on March 7 and March 8.

You will have online access to schedule conferences starting Tuesday, February 20th through Thursday, March 6th.

How to schedule your child(ren)’s conference:


2.       “Maria Montessori Charter Academy” and press “Go”

3.      There will be a prompt for a school password; the password is:  mmca

4.      The next screen will ask you to “enter the student’s ID” - we are NOT using student ID’s.  Instead, press the “LOOKUP STUDENT ID” button.

5.      After pressing the “look up student ID” button, you will be prompted to enter your child’s first name, last name, and birthdate and then press “LOOKUP”.

6.      After your child has been identified, the program will ask you to do two things:

a.       Select the classroom you want to schedule the conference for (note:  ALL of our classrooms are listed by color names, not teacher names); and

b.      If you have multiple children that you want to schedule a conference for, it will give you the opportunity to look up the next child (this will give you the opportunity to see multiple classroom conference schedules listed next to each other, making it convenient for your scheduling)

7.      The program will take you through a couple of self-explanatory calendar screens, and your conference will be scheduled.

Art Docent Wall Updates

Two new art installations are available to view in our Admin Building.  Stop by and see the Pop Art projects from the Purple Room and the “Children at Play” projects from the Children’s House and the Yellow Room!







Middle School Dance - March 15th, 6-8 pm 

We are so excited for our 2nd Annual Middle School Dance! This dance would not be made possible without our amazing MMCA staff and families. The MMCA PTA has created a sign-up genius. We definitely need all hands on deck to make this event a success!!! 



Family Dining Out Fundraiser at Chipotle

Our MMCA PTA is hosting a family dining out fundraiser on March 6th, 4-8 pm.  33% of event sales will be donated back to MMCA!  Join Us!
