We are still in need of volunteers for this event (use link below). Thank you to those that have already signed up. We appreciate your help!

PTA will award the BEST DECORATED vehicle!!! Help us reach our goal of 50 cars this year!!!

Don’t forget sign ups count toward your yearly volunteer hours. This a FREE Community event with FUN for all! In addition to the trunk-or-treat, there will be:

*Face Painting Booth

*Food Trucks

*Prizes for the Best Trunk (FREE PARKING SPOT!!!!! Until December 31st).

Unfortunately due to schedule conflicts, we decided to remove the Harvest Festival from the evening.

Please let your kids know that we have changed our Festival from Fall to Spring, so we will still be having an AMAZING Festival in April 2024!

We are sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused, but please know that from all of us with PTA, we appreciate your flexibility with these changes.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

MMCA PTA

Big Thank You to our PTA!

Our PTA provides classroom supplies, helps to fund large projects, and organizes staff appreciation events and large scale community events. This fall, the PTA graciously decided to update our staff lounge to provide a welcoming space for our staff to enjoy a break or meal with others. The results have been outstanding and we are SO THANKFUL!

We would especially like to thank Melissa Curle, Aspen Hofhenke, Raymond Ortiz, and Hodges Plumbing.

Yearbook Pictures

Just a few weeks into the school year and so many wonderful things are happening on and off campus: field trips, girls basketball, flag football, cross country, assemblies, art docent lessons, garden lessons, and community helper classroom speakers - just to name a few!

Did you take pictures at any of these events? If so, please share them with the yearbook committee! It is simple to do: just share directly from your phone to: mmcayb@gmail.com.

WatchDOGS

Next week, we’re looking forward to seeing Russell Ramos, Chad Hess, Bill Makimoto and Lucas Watkins as our WatchDOGS! We still have some spots available for the fall period. If you are interested in signing up, you may do so via this link here.

Spirit Day is On October 20th!

October 20th is our first spirit day of the year. The theme is Reverse. Staff will dress as students and students will dress like teachers!

Girls’ Soccer Tryouts Coming up!

Tryouts for our Girls’ Soccer team will be Monday, 10/23/23, from 2-3:30p. Sign-ups for tryouts is posted in our MPR. Ultimately, there is (1) girl’s soccer team that will be competing in a 6-8th grade division. We will let 5th graders tryout, but it is a tryout. Additionally, need some volunteer hours? We are looking for Assistant Soccer Coaches to help Coach Cohodes and Mr. B out. If you are interested, please contact jcohodes@mmcharter.org and brent@mmcharter.org.

Picture Day is on October 25th!

We are using a new Portrait Studio this year! Jostens’ PIX. Things will be done a little differently than previous years. On the morning of October 25th there will be three photographers here to take pictures of all students and staff. There will be no forms or envelopes. No cash or check collection. Everything will be done online! Since they will be using green screen technology, students should not wear green! Also, the group classroom pictures will be taken on retake day on November 16th. So send your kids to school “picture ready” on both of these dates! Details in the flyer below.
