WatchDOGS Update
We are excited for our WatchDOGS to be back on campus after the break! We are looking forward to Brad Johnson, Danny Murphy and Evan Martin as our WatchDOGS next week! Our Spring sign-ups are open now - sign up here to join your student(s) for a day or two (or more!) on campus as a WatchDOG.
Student Leadership Updates - Spirit Days, Snack Shack, Bake Sale
Our students in the Student Leadership elective class have been busy planning some fun events in the upcoming weeks:
1/26 - Spirit Day: Wear Your Favorite Color
1/30 - 3:15 pm - Snack Shack before Basketball game @3:30 pm
2/9 - Spirit Day: Wear Your Favorite Athletic Jersey
2/13 - 3:10 pm, Bake Sale organized by Student Leadership to raise funds for the American Heart Association
Next Round of FREE Afterschool Clubs Begin Again in February!
MMCA is dedicated to providing stimulating clubs and activities to enhance your students’ educational experience. The next round of afterschool clubs are listed below:
ART CLUB
Mrs. LaRoux will be leading another Art Club, Mondays from 2 to 3.
Students will create DIY Watercolor pet portraits, floral wreaths along with a cool sharpie and watercolor dragon's eye. Students will also create another mandala dotting stone and a scrape acrylic art painting as well.

KARATE CLUB
Mr. Bustamonte will be leading the Karate Club Fridays from 3:10 to 4:10.
(Karate runs continuously but only takes new members at the start of a session.)

NEW CLUB LEADERS NEEDED
We are also looking for parents interested in leading a club. If you have a hobby and enjoy teaching your craft to others, we want you! Plus, the time spent leading a club counts towards your volunteer hours!
Examples of clubs can include:
Board Games
Chess Club
Yoga
Dance
Book Club
Running Club
And more!

We are proud to welcome our newest MMCA Board Members: Chris Annicella and Jessica Pisano. All MMCA Board meetings are open to the public. Board meeting dates and board agendas are posted on our website.
Next window for School Uniform orders open now
We’re going to be placing another order with our school uniform vendor next Wednesday, 1/31/24. If you would like to order uniform clothes, please do so through our webpage store here. Order processing times are typically three school weeks.
APEX Fun Run - February 14th!
It’s that time of year again! We are so excited for our APEX Fun Run - our biggest, funnest FUNdraiser of the year! Our PTA strives to fundraise for our school in meaningful ways. This event raises the most money for our school while also providing valuable skills and learning opportunities for our students at the same time!
