PTA Dinner and a Movie Night - TOMORROW, Friday November 14 at 4:45 pm!
Bring your family to dinner and a movie at MMCA! Bring your blankets & pillows (and favorite stuffy) and enjoy Disney's Lilo & Stitch in the Multipurpose Room..
When: Friday, November 14
Where: Multipurpose Room
Showtime: Doors open at 4:45pm, movie starts at 5pm.
Admission: Admission is FREE. Please register all attendees https://my.cheddarup.com/.../family-movie-dinner.../items
Food: Pizza & snacks provided - bring your refillable water bottle.
We'll have a photo booth for extra fun. And don't forget your leftover halloween candy for a sweet treat.

Garden Work Day, 11/17
Monday, November 17 is our next Garden Workday, hosted by the Green Room and Coral Room!
Join us from 2:10–3:15 PM as we finish preparing the garden for winter.
All are welcome - we’d love to see you there!
Board of Directors Election Cycle
The Board of Directors defines the mission of the school and clarifies its philosophy. In conjunction with the Executive Director, the Board establishes the financial, educational, and operational goals of MMCA and ensures that they are achieved annually. The Board may be involved in facility planning, review and approval of legal documents, annual operating budgets, and staffing decisions. The Board of Directors also serve as ambassadors for the school, promoting its successes and building its positive reputation in the community.
Elections
Board elections are conducted in November/December of each school year. If you are interested in becoming a candidate, please check out our Candidate Information Packet. Applications will be accepted November 1st thru December 5, 2025.
Meetings
Meetings are typically held on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00pm.
School Picture Retakes - November 19
By now, all families should have received an email from Jostens regarding your child(ren)’s school pictures and information on how to order. For those families wanting their child(ren) to do retakes, you will need to access your JostensPIX account PRIOR to November 19. This will ensure that your child(ren) will be released from class at the correct time.
Watch Dogs Update
It was another great week to be a Watch D.O.G. and we love having that extra support around campus! Thank you to our Watch D.O.G.S this week: Kyle Dushane and Spencer Rivara! All spots are full through 2025. 2026 spots will open after our Donuts with Dads event in January.

Yearbook Cover Contest - Entries Due after Thanksgiving Break on December 2nd!
Yearbook Sales
Yearbooks are currently on sale! Early bird cost is $30 until December 31st. The price will increase to $35 on January 1st. We only accept online orders for yearbooks through our yearbook manufacturer, Jostens.com.
Photo Submissions for the Yearbook
Our yearbook committee needs YOUR pictures from school events, classroom activities, field trips, athletics, Harvest Festival, etc! Please email or text them to: mmcayb@gmail.com for possible inclusion in our yearbook!
