Mr. Boothby’s Update
A huge thank-you to everyone who came out and attended last week’s Harvest Festival and Trunk or Treat! The event was a tremendous success thanks to our amazing PTA and all of our dedicated volunteers who helped with setup, cleanup, running activities, and everything in between. The garden was in its full fall glory, and the kids had a wonderful time decorating their pumpkins. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Enrollment update: We have a couple spots available in our preschool and in our Kindergarten grade levels and are proceeding through waitlist calls. If you know of a famil(ies) that could be interested, please have them reach out to our mmca@mmcharter.org account.

MMCA Athletics Update
MMCA Cross Country Shines at League Championship!
MMCA had an incredible showing at this week’s League Championship meet, with five runners earning medals: Kiley W., Marco C., Kyle K., Kayla K., and Victoria S.!
The 4th and 5th Grade Boys Group placed 3rd in league overall!
We are so proud of all 42(!) of our Cross Country athletes for their dedication, hard work, and team spirit throughout the season.

MMCA Flag FB and Girls’ Basketball season wrap ups
Our JV Boys’ Flag FB team finished 5th in our 10 team league. Our VAR boys’ Flag FB team finished 9th in our 12 team league - though we played this season with only (2) 8th graders and had 5th graders playing VAR this year (we’re excited about our future seasons)!
Our JV Girls’ BB team finished 4th in our 12 team league at 7-4, and our VAR girls finished 6th in our 12 team league at 7-6.
Great job Mustangs!
UPCOMING WINTER ATHLETICS SEASON
Boys’ Volleyball Tryouts (5-8th grade)
Players should have a t-shirt, shorts and appropriate footwear to wear for try outs. There should be a JV (7th grade and younger) and Varsity team (8th grade and younger). As of today, we don’t have many 7/8th graders on the tryouts list - we will need more to field teams this year. 5th graders will be allowed to try out, but we will be competing against predominantly 7/8th grade based teams.
Asst. VB Coach - We are looking for VB Coach help! If you know VB and would like to be a part of our team, please reach out to Mr. B at brent@mmcharter.org.
10/28 - Tryouts, 3:20-4:40p
First Game: TBA, but will be in November
Girls’ Soccer Tryouts (5-8th grade)
Players should have a t-shirt, shorts, shin guards and appropriate footwear to wear for try outs. There will be one team. 5th graders will be allowed to try out, but we will be competing against predominantly 7/8th grade based teams.

Garden Update
Our Children’s House thru 3rd grade classrooms worked on scarecrows during garden lessons last Friday.
Student Leadership News
Student Leadership is officially in full swing! Our first fundraiser of the year is Candy Grams. Students can purchase Candy Grams after school by the MPR to surprise their friends. Parents are welcome to buy them for their children, as well.

Yearbooks are currently on sale! Early bird discount of $30 until December 31st. Prices will increase to $35 beginning January 1st. We only accept online orders for yearbooks through our yearbook manufacturer, Jostens.com.
Photo Submissions for the Yearbook
