Mr. Boothby’s Update

We are incredibly thankful to the PTA for bringing the GoGreenBMX program to our school today. Our students were treated to an awe-inspiring assembly filled with jaw-dropping BMX bike tricks, all while delivering powerful character-building messages including anti-bullying and making positive choices. We encourage you to talk to your children about their take-aways from the assembly to continue to build a strong family-school connection.

And once again, a big thank you to the PTA for making this unforgettable event possible!

Garden Committee - Join Us for a Fun and Meaningful Opportunity to Fill your Volunteer Hours; 9/2We're excited to kick off another school year, and we’d love to invite new volunteers to help us cultivate our garden! Our first meeting is next week, and we can’t wait to get started.

Thanks to the hard work of last year’s volunteers, our garden made incredible progress, and now it’s time to keep that momentum going! Your help will make a real difference in helping our garden continue to GROW and thrive. Come be a part of something special!

Family Dining Out - Panda Express; 9/10

Based on feedback from last year—and with so many fun PTA and school events happening this year—this will likely be our only family dining-out fundraiser of the year. We hope you can join us and help make it a great success!

Watch D.O.G.S. Pizza Night; 9/17

Flyers were sent home with students last week with information about our upcoming Watch D.O.G.S. Pizza Night on September 17th!

On Wednesday, September 17th from 5:30-6:30 pm we will be having our 13th annual ‘Dads and Kids’ Pizza Night at our school. You will meet here at the school cafeteria at 5:30 pm for FREE pizza and drinks. At 6:00pm we will have a presentation about our WATCH D.O.G.S.^®(Dads Of Great Students) Program.

WATCH D.O.G.S.^® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears.

Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers . . . this is your chance to have a night out alone with your student in a fun atmosphere at school.

Please return the RSVP forms to school by September 12th!

Orange Room students created some interesting Cave drawings as part of their ancient civilizations history lessons in 6th grade. Stop by the office for a closer look!
