APEX Fun Run - February 14th!
LESS THAN 1 WEEK AWAY!!!
Our students have had so much fun this week with our APEX Kick Off Assembly and classroom visits!
Our students learned the Apex POWER chant and that will be unlocking five daily habits that will grow our students’ confidence, their excitement to become leaders, and their hunger to make a positive impact in the world! The Apex Team let us know that every student possesses the power to make a difference in our school, their homes, someone’s life, and THE WORLD. They let our students know that every single one of them is loved, valuable, and has incredible potential, no matter what! Be sure to ask your student to share with you the POWER chant!

If you haven’t already, please be sure to scan your QR code on the VIP badge that went home on Monday or log in to www.myapexevent.com with your child’s “Access Code” which can be found on the front of their VIP badge. Log in and feel free to watch this year’s POWER theme videos. These videos are used as a tool to reinforce each leadership habit outside of the classroom.

WatchDOGS Update
We are excited to welcome Anthony Luevano, Scott White, Nathan Morano, and Evan Martin as our WatchDOGS next week! We still have spots for spring! Open spots include 2/29, 3/12-3/14, and 3/20-3/21. Please sign up here to join your student(s) for a day or two (or more!) on campus as a WatchDOG.
MMCA Athletics Update
Our Boys’ basketball teams have been having a great season and appreciate your support rooting on the teams! The final home games of the season are on Thursday, 2/22/24 vs. Foresthill (Varsity may be hosting playoff games the following week).
Next up for our Mustangs are boys and girls volleyball. Sign-ups will be posted towards the end of February, and tryouts will be during the week of March 4th.
Student Leadership Updates - Spirit Days, Snack Shack, Bake Sale
Our students in the Student Leadership elective class have been busy planning some fun events in the upcoming weeks:
2/8 - 3:15 pm; Snack Shack before Basketball game
2/9 - Spirit Day: Wear Your Favorite Athletic Jersey
2/13 - 3:10 pm, Bake Sale organized by Student Leadership to raise funds for the American Heart Association
