COVID-19 Update
Last week, I sent a very detailed ‘state of our school operations' during COVID letter. If you missed it, it is available here. I also sent a brief SurveyMonkey survey here, related to possible post Spring Break options if the state makes decisions that keeps us in hybrid. Again, under our current reopening plan, we plan to return to a ‘5 day everyone’ when Placer County is at sustained ‘orange’ on the state’s COVID color system.
As you saw via the note I sent last weekend, we had our first student-based COVID-19 notices go out. I think this is a good time to remind everyone about our basic COVID-19 protocols regarding student/staff illness and quarantines are available here.

MMCA PTA ‘Penny Wars’ Fundraiser
Heads up MMCA Families - During these unique COVID-19 times, our PTA is getting creative and is going to do their first real fundraiser of the school year. Paper copies of the flyers about the fundraiser will be going home today/tomorrow, and electronic copy of the Penny Wars Flyer is available at the end of today’s Flyer.

Lunch Recess / ASC Staff
We’re looking for additional paid PT staff to help us out with lunch and Before/After School Care coverage, particularly for our substitutes pool. Possible work shifts include 7a-8:30a, 11a-1:15p, and 3p-6:00p. If this is something you may be interested in, please contact Mr. Baldonade at rbaldonade@mmcharter.org.
