Upcoming Events:                   

  • 7/31 - Deadline to order School Supplies at $60 Early Bird Rate

  • 8/3 - Deadline to order Breakfast/Lunch for 1st Week of School (8/14 & 8/15)

  • 8/9 - Popsicles in the Park & Uniform Exchange hosted by the MMCA PTA 

  • 8/12 - Preschool Parent Information Night (invitation sent via separate email only to Preschool parents)

  • 8/13 - Meet your teachers event for K’s and new 1st graders (10-11:00a)

  • 8/13 - Meet your Preschool Teachers event (morning and afternoon groups, invitations sent via separate email)

  • 8/14 - First Day of School - Minimum Day - 12:00p dismissal

  • 8/14-15 - Minimum Days, 12:00p dismissal

  • 8/20 - Back to School Night

    • 6:00 pm - New Parent Orientation in Multi-Purpose Room

    • 6:30 pm - Classroom Presentations



MMCA Families,


This flyer contains a few reminders about upcoming deadlines to order School Supplies, Spirit Wear and school breakfast/lunch as well as some additional information about the school year.  Our final Summer Flyer will be emailed later next week.


Our class rosters will be posted on our front office windows Monday, 8/11/25 after 4:00 p.m.  Each summer, I receive several questions with regards to my strategies for setting a class roster.  My overall goal in developing any class roster is to try to establish a balanced classroom looking at these primary factors: 1) behavior, 2) academic ability, 3) gender and 4) grade level.  While I will take parent requests into consideration, there will be circumstances where I will not be able to honor all requests, particularly when doing so would lead to an unbalanced classroom.

Kindergarten (and new 1st grade students) “Meet your teachers day”

On Wednesday, 8/13/25, from 10:00a to 11:00a, we are going to have a “Meet your teachers day” for all of our Kindergarten (and new 1st grade) students.



PTA Events Calendar

 The updated 2025-26 PTA calendar is here!  The PTA has worked hard to create fun community events throughout the year!  There are a few FUNdraisers this year to help fund a variety of initiatives on campus.

 School Supplies - Early Bird Deadline is July 31st!

Buy early and save! Purchase supplies for only $60 now thru 7/31; $75 thru 8/7; and $85 after 8/7. School Supplies can be purchased on our website at this link: http://mmcharter.org/store


 

School Spirit Wear - 1st Order Deadline extended to July 31st!

Student Uniforms 

Our school has a uniform policy. Uniform clothing may be bought at our online store, or at locations such as Amazon, Old Navy, Walmart, etc.  


Our student uniform ordering process is electronic on the MMCA store page:  http://mmcharter.org/store.  Click on the item(s) you’d like (t-shirt, moisture wicking shirt, polo shirt or sweatshirt) and select sizes and then proceed to checkout.  Our uniform provider requires bulk orders.  Our first deadline has been extended to July 31st (to, hopefully, make sure they’re available by the start of the school year). 



Breakfast / Hot Lunch - Deadline to Order for the first week of school is August 3rd


Our food vendor is Revolution Foods.  Our online ordering system is being provided by Boonli.

          NOTE  It will ask you to enter the classroom that your child is in, if they are entering a new classroom this year or you are new to MMCA, you will not know this information yet, so just enter one of the classrooms in their grade.  You will need to go in and adjust to the correct classroom when you find out their class assignment week of 8/11.

Before & After School Care

Information and registration information about our Before & After School Care is now available. 


To sign up for Before and/or After School Care, both new and returning students will need to complete this application.  If you have any questions about our Before / Aftercare program, please feel free to contact Before / Aftercare Director Ray Baldonade at rbaldonade@mmcharter.org


Popsicles in the Park and Uniform Exchange on August 9th!

The MMCA PTA is already busy planning an exciting lineup of events for next year! Be sure to mark your calendars for August 9th —we can’t wait to see you at our Popsicles in the Park & Uniform Swap event.

August 9th, 2025 at 10:00am

*Margaret Azevedo Park, Rocklin CA (right next to the school)

Look for the PTA table to check in!

PTA will be well stocked with popsicles for new and returning students to connect before the first day of school.

We will also have the uniform swap open. Bring outgrown sizes to donate and take what you need. Taking advantage of the uniform swap is a great way to donate gently worn uniform standard items, and stock up on sizes your student currently needs. If you don't have anything to swap, no worries, you're still welcome to participate! The PTA closet is overflowing! *Time may change, updates will be provided as event draws closer.
