Mr. Boothby’s Message

As we look ahead to the Thanksgiving break, our hearts are full of gratitude. Thank you for trusting us with your children each day and partnering with us in your children’s education. It is a joy and a privilege to learn and grow together in such a special place at MMCA.

We hope next week brings you moments of rest, connection and celebration with the people you cherish most. Enjoy the season, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in December as we finish the year strong.

We are gauging parent interest in offering a "Winter Camp" this year.  If provided, the Camp would only be offered on the following days:

December 19, 22, 23, 29, 30, 31

The hours and price for the camp would be similar to our Summer Camp program: 9:00a-1:00p for 'camp', with before / after care hours of 7:30a - 9:00a and 1:00p - 5:00p.  If offered, Winter Camp would be led by our Blue Room Teacher Mrs. Medeiros and an assistant.  Please take a moment to fill out the brief survey here - responses required by December 1st for planning needs

Parking Lot Morning Volunteers Needed!

Crosswalk monitors needed for morning drop-off (8:15a-8:30a - we’ll offer DOUBLE volunteer hours for these spots).  Check in at the office in the morning to obtain a safety vest and log your hours.

Watch Dogs Update

It was another great week to be a Watch D.O.G. and we love having that extra support around campus! Thank you to our Watch D.O.G.S this week: Charles Hanks, Jared Shimazu, Eddy Gallardo and Brad Zimmerman!  All spots are full through 2025.  Spots for 2026 will open after our Donuts with Dads event in January.

Student Leadership Update

We had another crazy, but fun week in Student Leadership. We had a sports rally highlighting boys volleyball and girls soccer. It sounds like they are both off to a great start. Check the weekly flier for dates and times for games.

Student Leadership was also busy after school selling donuts and cider.

Thank you Loren and Julie Cohodes of  All Seasons Pool and Spas for sponsoring this event. Please consider using them for your pool service or supplies. I have been using them for the past 7 years and they have always had good prices and great customer service.

Alumni Spotlight

It’s not often we get to see our alumni in action at high school, which makes this especially fun to share! A group of former MMCA students (spanned over three different graduating classes) has reunited as castmates in their high school play, “The Crucible,” at Whitney High School. It’s been wonderful to see them reconnect, work side by side, and bring their energy to the stage. We love seeing how far they’ve come!
