Welcome from PTA!

Dear New and Returning MMCA families,

Welcome to the new school year!

First of all, the MMCA Parent Teacher Association (PTA) would like to thank all of our past committee co-chairs and many volunteers. This past year was a great success because of your dedication and support.

Our PTA is made up of parents, teachers, grandparents, guardians, school staff and others in the community that want to bring opportunities to our kids. MMCA PTA plays an important role in supporting this great school by working hard to provide the “extras” that enrich our children’s educational experience. We also provide many activities, fundraisers and services throughout the year. It is our hope that every family can participate, so we can better serve our children and their needs.

We are looking forward to another great year and hope you are getting ready to play an active role in our school’s community. For the PTA to be effective and truly representative of the school, everyone’s participation is essential and much needed. Regardless of the time you are able to spend at school, your ideas, your talents and simply your OPINION are truly needed.

Our first General PTA meeting will be held on September 30th before the Family Dance and Pizza Night. Every meeting gives you a chance to ask questions, make suggestions, meet and talk with other parents. Please look for our monthly newsletters listing meeting dates and details about upcoming events.

Currently, PTA is looking for parents that would love to help us coordinate the following events:

Family Dance & Pizza Night – September 30, 2016

Breakfast with Santa – December 10, 2016

Auction Event – April TBD, 2017
