Mission Statement

 Maria Montessori Charter Academy Preschool was founded in August 2009 by the Maria Montessori Charter Academy. The mission of the Maria Montessori Charter Academy Preschool is to provide a Montessori-based educational environment which has the tools, programs, resources and support to enable students to become educated to high international academic standards and to develop themselves to their fullest capacity as competent, happy, productive individuals, family members, workers, and contributors to a better society and a peaceful world.

School Hours and Daily Schedule

MMCA Preschool is open from 8:15am-1:45pm Monday through Friday. Please see the school calendar for school holidays. We offer Half Day and Full Day programs, however the preschool will accept Full Day students first and Half Day students will be admitted based on spaces available.

Full Day School Hours: 8:15am-1:45pm

After Care is available from 1:45pm until 5:30pm for our preschool students. Arrangements can be made ahead of time and included in your monthly billing or it can be used on a drop-in basis if space is available for $3.00 per half hour.

10:30 Circle/Music

11:15 Lunch for Full Day Students

11:15 Pick Up for Half Day Students

12:00 Wash Up/Story for Full Day Students

12:15 Work Period – Self Serve Snack

1:45 Closing/Check Out

Tuition Schedules

Full Day/5 Days per week $575.00 per month

If you will be using After School Care (ASC) from 1:45-5:30, there will be an additional daily charge of $15.00 per day. If your child is a sibling of a MMCA 1st-8th grader and you would like to pick your preschooler up at 3:10, your may enroll him/her in ASC from 1:45-3:10 for $5 per day. Drop-in use of ASC will be billed at $3 per half hour on a space available basis.

Enrollment Checklist

Unlike the MMCA Elementary program, which is lottery-based, enrollment in the MMCA Pre-School will be on a first come, first serve basis.  There will be an enrollment preference for full-day, pre-K aged students first.

The following documents must be completed and submitted to the School before your child will be allowed admission:

• Signed Admissions Agreement

• Enrollment Form

• Emergency Card

• Student Health Inventory

• Report of Health Examination for School Entry form to be completed by your child’s doctor or medical advisor

• Acknowledgement of Parent Handbook (page 13 of this booklet

• Copy of Immunization Record

• Birth certificate

• A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee
