Parent Education

PARENT EDUCATION SERIES

Do you know what the Bank Game is?  Have you ever wondered how the Moveable Alphabet and Sandpaper Letters help your child learn to read? Do you think that the Snake Game involves learning about reptiles?  If you so, the MMCA Parent Education Series is for you.

The MMCA Charter Council and MMCA PTA are sponsoring an MMCA teacher-facilitated education series to help parents of MMCA students gain a better understanding of the activities within a Montessori classroom environment.  These classes will be designed to give parents a hands-on learning experience.  MMCA teachers will provide parents with a lesson on how to use classroom materials, and then parents will have the opportunity to put that lesson into practice.
